There’s not much that can be said about Newland Hall that I haven’t mentioned before in previous blog posts. It is without doubt one of the best wedding venues in Essex. Becky and Paul were married there in August of 2019 and I was on hand to capture their special day in photographs. Along with their daughter Amelia, family and friends the couple enjoyed a fantastic and sometimes emotional wedding day.
As with nearly all my wedding photography I start off with the bridal preparations. Becky had her hair and makeup done prior to arriving at Newland Hall and just had to slip into her wonderful wedding dress and do the final touch-ups before she was ready to get married.
As you can see from the images Becky and Paul are a fantastic looking couple and were a pleasure to photograph. There are several options for where you can get married at Newland Hall. Although the weather was a little dull that day it was at least dry and good for a civil ceremony under the gazebo in the garden. Most couples like a few formal/group photographs and this was true for Becky and Paul. As can be seen, where possible I also try to capture some more natural unposed wedding photographs.
After the formal photography it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches were very special with, as you can see from the photographs, Paul getting extremely emotional.
